Full-back could face United after Ipswich loan cut short

West Bromwich Albion have recalled full-back Gianni Zuiverloon from his loan spell at Ipswich Town. Zuiverloon linked up with Ipswich last month and had made four appearances during his time with the Championship club. The Dutchman was due to stay at Portman Road until after next Monday's game against Nottingham Forest, but he has been summoned back to West Brom. Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is facing a defensive crisis ahead of Saturday's game against Manchester United following Tuesday's defeat by Blackburn Rovers. Gabriel Tamas will serve a suspension after being sent off, while Gonzalo Jara also sits out the United visit after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Blackburn. It means Zuiverloon, who turns 24 on Thursday, could be in line to make his first Premier League appearance of the campaign when West Brom entertain United at the weekend.
