Former Utrecht forward ready for Cherries challenge

Dutch striker Frank Demouge has admitted he is ready for a challenge ahead of completing his move from Eredivisie side Utrecht to League One outfit Bournemouth. The 29-year-old penned a two-year contract with the Cherries which will start on 1st July after agreeing personal terms. Demouge, who scored 11 goals in 46 appearances for Utrecht, says the club really attracted him after recently visiting England. "This foreign adventure is exactly what I was looking for," Demouge told Dutch football magazine Voetbal international. "I was looking for a new challenge and English football always interested me. "Bournemouth has a Russian owner (Maxim Demin) and they have a lot of ambitions. I have heard some good things and I know the club want to gain promotion next season."
