Martins Indi was one of six players from Feyenoord on international duty as the national side won World Cup qualifiers with Estonia and Romania.

But the Portuguese-born defender has switched his focus back to Feyenoord, who know a win on Saturday will move them from third to first in the table.

With top side Ajax, who are a point clear, not playing until Sunday, there is a chance Feyenoord could go top if they win at Heerenveen.

Victory would also take Feyenoord above PSV Eindhoven who currently have the same points as Feyenoord, with both clubs lying one behind Ajax in the table.

Martins Indi played both games for Holland, as did Feyenoord team-mates Daryl Janmaat and Stefan de Vrij, while Jordy Clasie and Reuben Schaken also played some part in the international games.

Martins told the Feyenoord website: "I focus entirely on Feyenoord. There is plenty at stake for us, starting next Saturday against SC Heerenveen. About my own performance in the last two matches, I am very satisfied. With the victories we have done good business in our bid to qualify for the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil."

Feyenoord's opponents Heerenveen have held a meeting with striker Rajiv van la Parra who suffered a head wound when he crashed his car into a tree.

The club have not stated whether he will face Feyenoord but have taken disciplinary action and president Robert Veenstra said: "He has clearly stated that he realises he has made a mistake.

"The club has, in line with the conversation, taken appropriate action taken. The details fo that action remain between Rajiv and the club, as have we agreed. However, we can report that Rajiv made a contribution to the social projects of the club," Veenstra added on the club website."

In the other Saturday games fifth-placed FC Twente will hope to boost their hopes of European qualification when they take on NAC Breda, in 11th, at

home.

Bottom side Willem II take on FC Groningen and sixth-placed FC Utrecht are at home to VVV-Venlo, who lie one place off the foot of the table in 17th.

Leaders Ajax get the chance to boost their title credentials when they face

NEC Nijmegen at home on Sunday, with second-placed PSV away to Roda JC.

Vitesse Arnhem take on PEC Zwolle, RKC Waalwijk are at home to ADO Den Haag and Heracles Almelo take on AZ Alkmaar in the other Sunday games.
