It took 120 minutes of football and 32 penalties to separate Derby County and Carlisle United in the EFL Cup second round at the iPro Stadium on Tuesday Night.

Championship side Derby took the lead in the 56th minute when Darren Bent fired home from close range. However, they were pegged back right at the death after Mike Jones grabbed Carlise's 95th minute equaliser.

It took the game to extra-time but the two sides could not be separated as the second round match went the distance.
