Champions League permutations for Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham, Leicester and Celtic

SOFIA, BULGARIA - NOVEMBER 01: of Arsenal during the UEFA Champions League match between PFC Ludogorets Razgrad a

We look at the permutations for the British sides in their respective Champions League groups.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Leicester and Celtic's dreams of glory are still alive.

Here, we look at what they need to do to make those dreams a reality…

Arsenal (Group A)

Remaining fixtures: Paris Saint-Germain (h), Basel (a)

Group A

Team W D L GD Pts
Arsenal 3 1 0 +9 10
PSG 3 1 0 +6 10
Ludogorets 0 1 3 -9 1
Basel 0 1 3 -6 1

Arsenal have qualified for the last 16 for the 17th straight season, thanks to Mesut Ozil's late winner against Ludogorets.

PSG sealed a late win of their own at Basel to progress along with Arsene Wenger's men but both sides are tied on 10 points.

When teams are level on points, their records against each other are taken into account - not their overall goal difference.

The Gunners are ahead of their French rivals thanks to scoring an away goal in their 1-1 draw in Paris. That means Arsenal can win the group with victory over PSG at the Emirates or they can hold them to a 0-0 and match or better PSG's result in the final group game.

A 1-1 draw would mean the final group game would determine the group winner - with overall goal differences coming into play.

Man City and Celtic (Group C)

City's remaining fixtures: Borussia Monchengladbach (a), Celtic (h)

Celtic's remaining fixtures: Barcelona (h), Man City (a)

Group C

Team W D L GD Pts
Barcelona 3 0 1 +10 9
Man City 2 1 1 +2 7
Gladbach 1 1 2 -3 4
Celtic 0 2 2 -9 2

Pep Guardiola's side fell behind at the Etihad to a Lionel Messi strike but roared back to end their Barcelona hoodoo and beat the La Liga side 3-1.

Having slipped up against Celtic, City are still in second spot but have closed the gap on the Catalans to two points. A further two from their final two games will be enough to seal their place in the last 16.

Moussa Dembele rescued a point from the penalty spot for Celtic but their 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach means their Champions League fate seems sealed.

Mathematically, the result keeps their qualification hopes alive but they'll need to beat both Manchester City and Barcelona to have a chance of making the knockout stages.

They can still overhaul Gladbach in third to book a Europa League spot - but because they have already lost to and drawn with the German side, Celtic will need to win one of their remaining games against City or Barcelona.

Tottenham (Group E)

Remaining fixtures: Monaco (a), CSKA Moscow (h)

Group E

Team W D L GD Pts
Monaco 2 2 0 +4 8
B Leverkusen 1 3 0 +1 6
Tottenham 1 1 2 -1 4
CSKA Moscow 0 2 2 -4 2

More Wembley woe against Leverkusen means Tottenham drop to third in Group E behind Monaco - who beat CSKA Moscow 3-0 in the group's other game - and their Bundesliga victors, with two games left of the group stage.

They face Monaco next up away from home on November 22, before hosting CSKA in the final group game.

Spurs will be out of contention for the knockout stage if they are beaten by Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen get a draw against CSKA away from home in the final match day.

If they are to win in Monaco, their hopes will come down to the final match day, while a draw is only enough to take it to the last game if Bayer fail to beat CSKA.

Leicester (Group G)

Remaining fixtures: Club Brugge (h), Porto (a)

Group G

Team W D L GD Pts
Leicester 3 1 0 +5 10
Porto 2 1 1 +1 7
Copenhagen 1 2 1 +3 5
Club Brugge 0 0 4 -9 0

Leicester failed to confirm their knockout stage berth in Copenhagen, as they were held to a 0-0 in Denmark on Wednesday.

The Foxes still top Group G by three points and a draw against Club Brugge at the King Power Stadium will be enough to guarantee their place in the knockout stages.

They will top the group with a win if Porto fail to beat Copenhagen, but if both Leicester and Porto win in the next match day, top spot will come down to the meeting between the two sides on December 7 in Portugal.
