Mali international could soon be on the move

OB Odense have confirmed that interest is being shown in Kalifou Traore, with Wigan and Wolves said to be keen on the midfielder. Sky Sports revealed on Wednesday that the Premier League pair are targeting the Mali international. Wigan see Traore as an ideal replacement for Mohamed Diame, while Wolves want to pair him with countryman Tongo Doumbia. OB have refused to reveal the identity of those clubs in the running for the 24-year-old, but acknowledge that he could soon be on his way out of Danish football. "There has been interest from many clubs in several countries, but no specific offers," sporting director Poul Hansen told Onside.dk. He concedes that it may be in OB's best interests to part with Traore this summer, as a sale would help to generate useful funds. "With some of the prices being mentioned in the media, we would be happy to do a deal," added Hansen. "The player himself is also ready to switch. "But at the moment it is all speculation because there have been no concrete offers."
