Ireland have arranged a friendly against Mexico in June, as a warm-up to their World Cup qualifier against Austria later in the month.
Martin O'Neill's squad will play Mexico at the MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, on Thursday, June 1.
Following the fixture, Ireland return to Dublin to take on Uruguay at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, June 4, before playing Austria seven days later at the same venue.
Manager O'Neill said: "This is brilliant for us in our preparation for our qualifier against Austria.
"Mexico in the United States couldn't be much tougher but it's exactly what we want. We have another game against Uruguay a few days later.
"The players who may not have played for a while, after their club season has ended will, I'm sure, relish the opportunity to play against such quality opposition."
Ireland have played Mexico four times, including at the 1994 World Cup Finals when the game in Orlando ended in a 2-1 defeat for Jack Charlton's side. The other three clashes all ended in draws.
Mexico are currently 17th in the FIFA World Ranking and, following the friendly against Ireland, they will compete in the Confederations Cup with games against Russia, Portugal and New Zealand.
One of Ireland's greatest moments came at MetLife Stadium where they beat Italy 1-0, thanks to Ray Houghton's goal in their opening tie of the 1994 World Cup Finals.
The match against Mexico will kick off at 8pm local time.
