Cristiano Ronaldo might not have been playing for Real Madrid recently, but he didn't look out of touch for Portugal on Thursday.
The 32-year-old, who has been suspended for Real Madrid after pushing the referee in the Spanish Super Cup, scored a hat-trick as Portugal beat Faroe Islands 5-1 in World Cup Qualifying Group B.
He opened the scoring in style too, firing in a scissor kick at the back post inside the opening four minutes.
Ronaldo scored his second from the penalty spot and then netted again in the second half after William Carvalho had scored.
Real Madrid's Ronaldo is now the fifth top scorer of all-time at international level with 78 goals, moving ahead of Brazil legend Pele on 77.
Zambia's Godfrey Chitalu is fourth on the list with 79 goals and Japan's Kunishige Kamamoto is third with 80. Portugal travel to Hungary in their next World Cup Qualifier on Sunday.
