England boss Roy Hodgson believes Jack Wilshere needs a good run in the Arsenal team in order to hit top form at next summer's World Cup.
Although Germany suffered the blow of losing Sami Khedira with a serious knee injury on Friday, their coach Joachim Low still has a plethora of talented options to choose from ahead of Tuesday's visit to Wembley. Hodgson is therefore thinking of deploying a younger body in midfield alongside Steven Gerrard, who is expected to return after sitting out the defeat to Chile with a hip problem. "That's something we are thinking about," Hodgson said. "I think we have got a lot of energy in our squad. "We are more than aware of the fact that they have a very dynamic midfield and we will have to be dynamic ourselves to keep them at bay."
