Jane Ross out of Scotland Women's final two Euro 2017 group games

Scotland Women have been dealt another major Euro 2017 blow after striker Jane Ross was ruled out of their final two group games.

The 27-year old Manchester City forward suffered a shoulder injury in Scotland's opening 6-0 defeat to England on Tuesday night.

Ross, who has scored 50 goals in 107 appearances for her country, joins Kim Little, Lizzie Arnot and Jen Beattie on the long list of Scotland's absentees.

"With respect to the two qualifying games, it is unlikely she will be able to take part in those games," said team doctor Stephen Boyce.

"However, should Scotland progress further in the tournament we'll re-evaluate the clinical situation at that time."
