Roy Keane raised a rare smile when he offered a schoolgirl footballer a little advice on her future career.

Two youngsters were given the chance to question the Republic of Ireland assistant manager before his press conference at Abbotstown on Tuesday as part of the Football Association of Ireland's Soccer Sisters initiative.

Keane was fulfilling his media duties ahead of Friday's crunch World Cup Qualifier against Wales - live on Sky Sports 1 - and couldn't help but grin at both questions from the schoolgirls.

Keane was quizzed about his relationship with Ireland manager Martin O'Neill before offering some sound advice on what it takes to become a professional footballer.
