Dick Advocaat will be named Netherlands head coach for a third time on Tuesday, according to Sky sources.
The 69-year-old, who has a contract at Turkish cub Fenerbahce until the start of June, previously managed his country from 1992-94 and again from 2002-04.
And the Dutch FA (KNVB) are expected to confirm Advocaat as successor to Danny Blind, who was sacked in March with Netherlands fourth in their World Cup qualifying group.
Advocaat led the Dutch to the World Cup quarter-finals in 1994 and to the last four of Euro 2004.
His 37-year management career also includes spells in charge of five other countries, while Rangers and Sunderland are among his former clubs.
