England will play Germany in a friendly at Berlin's Olympic Stadium on March 26, 2016.
The last meeting between the sides came at Wembley Stadium in November 2013, when a Per Mertesacker header secured victory for the Germans in the build-up to the World Cup in Brazil.
England have not played in Berlin since November 2008, a match Fabio Capello's side won 2-1 thanks to goals from centre-back pairing Matthew Upson and John Terry.
Roy Hodgson's England could have already qualified for next year's European Championship in France by the time the Germany friendly takes place, with the world champions representing a stern test of their credentials.
The kick-off time and ticket details have not yet been confirmed.
