Ligue 1 roundup: Lorient climb up to second with Guingamp win

Caen moved up to second thanks to a 2-1 success over Guingamp at the Stade Michel d'Ornano.

Julien Feret's curling finish 63 minutes in set them on their way and ex-Wigan striker Andy Delort doubled the advantage nine minutes later with his fifth goal of the season.

Dorian Leveque pulled one back for the visitors late on but Caen held on to end a run of three consecutive defeats.

Lorient defeated Troyes 4-1 to climb up the sixth place in the division as Benjamin Moukandjo scored twice for Les Merlus.

Djibril Sidibe's 88th-minute equaliser earned a share of the spoils for 10-man Lille, who drew 1-1 with Bastia.

Les Dogues were trailing to Gael Danic's left-footed finish and they played the final seven minutes with a one-man disadvantage after Sofiane Boufal saw red, but Sidibe's goal delivered a point.

Strugglers Montpellier and GFC Ajaccio both claimed 2-1 victories over Nantes and Reims respectively.

The former, who recorded their third straight home success after picking up just one point in their opening seven fixtures, were slipping back into the bottom three until Hilton stabbed in a 90th-minute winner.

Montpellier had led through Jerome Roussillon only to see Yacine Bammou sweep in a second-half leveller.

Like Montpellier, Ajaccio have found their form of late and the triumph over Reims was their third in as many weekends. Khalid Boutaib's opener was added to by Jacques Zoua in the second half and substitute Grejohn Kyei's effort for Reims proved to be only a consolation.

Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain made it 13 league games unbeaten with a 5-0 thrashing of Toulouse at the Parc Des Princes.

With Lyon, St Etienne and Angers all in action on Sunday, Laurent Blanc's men extended their advantage at the summit to 11 points while improving their goals-for tally to 31 in the process.

Ex-Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria set them on their way with a long-range free-kick before Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace and Lucas Moura and Ezequiel Lavezzi also found the net.
