Ligue 1 round-up: Marseille and Monaco share spoils

Marseille came from behind twice to draw 3-3 at home to Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The home side took the lead after 12 minutes through Romain Alessandrini, but Almamy Toure scored twice to put Monaco in the lead before half-time.

Michy Batshuayi then levelled the game for Marseille six minutes after the break before Fabio Coentrao put Monaco ahead again in the 72nd minute.

But Marseille fought back again and Georges N'Koudou equalised with eight minutes to go.

Elsewhere, Caen climbed back to second after thrashing Bordeaux 4-1 away from home on Sunday.

Syam Ben Youssef opened the scoring for Caen after just six minutes, before Damien Da Silva doubled their lead after the break.

Cedric Carrasso then put through his own net and Andy Delort put the result beyond doubt after 77 minutes.

Bordeaux then saw Andre Biyogo Poko sent off late on before Enzo Crivelli grabbed a stoppage-time consolation.

Saint Etienne went fifth after thrashing Guingamp 3-0 at home despite finishing the game with 10 men.

Romain Hamouma opened the scoring for them in the 52nd minute, before Valentin Eysseric struck from the spot three minutes from time.

Moustapha Bayal Sall then walked for the home side after picking up a second yellow card, but there was still time for them to grab a third through Nolan Roux.
