Philippe Coutinho

The latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Friday, July 27.

Liverpool remain unmoved on their stance regarding Philippe Coutinho leaving the club, according to ESPN.

The Brazilian forward is a target for Barcelona but the Merseysiders do not want to sell and have told the Catalans he is not available for any price.

The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, claim Barca may offer midfielder Ivan Rakitic as makeweight in a bid to push through Coutinho's move to the Camp Nou.

Having already rejected an initial bid for Coutinho, Liverpool are understood to have slapped a £133m price tag on Coutinho - a move which has prompted Barca to consider improving their offer.

Sticking with the Daily Mirror, they expect Liverpool to make a final bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita in excess of £70m.
