Motherwell have signed striker Danny Johnson from National League side Gateshead on a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old becomes the Steelmen's third signing of the summer and will look to continue his prolific goalscoring form in the Scottish Premiership, having scored 53 goals in 85 starts for the Heed.
Johnson - who has also had spells with Hartlepool, Cardiff, Tranmere and in Spain with Real Murcia - has been given the No 24 shirt for the 2018/19 season.
"I'm very excited to join the club," Johnson told the club's official website. "It's the next stage I've been working hard for. I feel I have progressed in the last few years.
"Motherwell, having reached two cup finals last season, is a club only going in one direction and I want to be part of that."
Well manager Stephen Robinson is also feeling positive about the signing of Johnson.
"We are delighted to add Danny to the team," he said. "He will add to our options up top and give us another goalscoring threat.
"Danny has scored a lot of goals in the last few years and comes in from a level where we have signed a lot of players in recent times who have done very well for the club."
Fixtures for the new Scottish Premiership season are released at 9am on Friday. Watch Sky Sports News to find out your club's fixtures or find them on skysports.com and via the Sky Sports apps.
