Rennes midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until 2017.
The 21-year-old, the cousin of double World Championship gold medal-winning athlete Ladji Doucoure, has become a regular in coach Philippe Montanier's side since the turn of the year and has made 17 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
The Rouge et Noir have a Coupe de France final against Guingamp to look forward to on Saturday and Doucoure said: "This week has started well, I hope it will also finish well. We hope to play a great match."
