Dutchman denies he is set to sign a new contract

Arjen Robben has described suggestions he is on the brink of signing a new contract at Bayern Munich as 'premature'. The Dutch star's current deal expires in 2013, but his Bundesliga title-chasing club want to secure him for a further two years after that date. Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes on Monday expected Robben to sign new terms 'in the coming period' and the player is happy at the Allianz Arena. But the former Chelsea winger, who was rested as an unused substitute for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League quarter-final victory over Marseille, also wants to take his time. He told Dutch TV NOs: "It's all a bit premature. We will have a conversation soon, but that won't be to set my signature. "My intention is to remain at the club. I feel well at the club and we will see." Bayern on Wednesday announced star striker Mario Gomez had signed a new contract which runs until 2016.
