The Montenegro striker was heavily linked with moves to Manchester City or Juventus last summer, but remained with La Viola.
The 22-year-old is his club's leading scorer with six goals so far this season, despite a calf injury that has sidelined him for a month.
With another transfer window about to open, speculation about a potential move has resurfaced but the player is happy that the club kept their word when he opted to stay.
"I've had offers but I wanted to stay and I did," Jovetic declared.
"The president promised to strengthen the squad and fight for the Champions League, and both promises have been kept."
However Jovetic left the door open to a move away in the future, adding: "Do I dream of playing for a bigger club? It's better to say not too much.
"Generally, I do not think too much about what will happen in the future. If something has to happen, it will happen anyway. It's up to me only to work and devote myself to football.
"I've been in Italy for five years and I've learned the language and local habits. Even if going abroad would be a new challenge, I would like to stay in Italy."
