Hannover face fight to keep hold of Ivory Coast ace

Sky Sports understands Hannover forward Didier Ya Konan is being watched by a number of Premier League sides, with one club purportedly ready to make an offer. The player has been on the radar of a number of teams for a couple of years but an impressive season in the Bundesliga has catapulted him on to a number of Premier League clubs' wish lists. An overhead goal against Bayern Munich has been the highlight of another successful season that followed on from being voted runners-up in the Player of Season awards last term. The playmaker has had a busy season with his club side making the quarter-finals of the Europa League and his nation finishing as runners-up in the African Cup of Nations. Konan, 27, is under contract with Hannover until June 2014 and is thought to be valued in the region of €6million. As well as contributing four assists in the Europa League he has, since the end of February, grabbed four goals, three of those in the club's last four Bundesliga games. All the more impressive is that those goals have come against Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg.
