Transfer news: AC Milan may consider move for Liverpool's Suso

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani says the club will explore the possibility of taking Liverpool midfielder Suso in January.

The Spain U21 international has entered the final year of his contract at Anfield and is due to drop into the free agent pool next summer.

With no indication of fresh terms being agreed on Merseyside, the 20-year-old will be able to open talks with interested parties in the New Year.

Milan intend to enter those discussions, with the Serie A outfit already planning their recruitment business for 2015.

Real Madrid’s World Cup-winning midfielder Sami Khedira is another of those reported to be in their sights.

He will also be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and will be of interest to Milan if the scramble for his signature is not overly intense or expensive.

Galliani said: “Suso to AC Milan in January? He is a player with a contract expiring in June who must decide whether to stay at Liverpool or go elsewhere. We’ll see in January.

“Khedira? He would be good for AC Milan but earns a lot of money. If he doesn’t extend his contract with Real Madrid, he will ask for a very high salary.”
