Cristiano Ronaldo is in top condition and is more determined than ever to lead Portugal to the European title, according to coach Fernando Santos.

Portugal play their final warm-up ahead of Euro 2016 against Estonia on Wednesday, with Ronaldo's fitness their main concern after his muscular problems at the end of the season with Real Madrid.

The 31-year-old joined up with his team-mates on Sunday and is expected to start in Lisbon on Wednesday having missed the 1-0 defeat to England at Wembley last week.

"He is very well physically, mentally and in terms of morale," said Santos. "You will see it in the game [on Wednesday]. He is in the same condition as any other player."

Ronaldo was struggling with tendonitis two years ago, when Portugal failed to go beyond the group stages at the World Cup in Brazil, but is desperate to make his mark in France having scored 51 goals in 48 games for Real last season.
