The team discuss Arsenal's title credentials, Joe Hart's axing, 'ageing' Steven Gerrard and a 'media-hogging' Jose Mourinho in a new edition of the Football Podcast.

Arsenal's title credentials, Hart's axing, 'ageing' Gerrard and 'media-hogging' Mourinho are all discussed.

Sky Sports News Radio presenter Ben Ransom hosts this week's Football Podcast and is joined in the studio by TEAMtalk.com's James Marshment and Football365.com's Daniel Storey as they look back on the big talking points from this weekend's games in the Premier League. FIRING GUNNERS! Arsenal come in for plenty of praise for their brilliant dismantling of Liverpool on Saturday, but Marshy argues it's too early to call them title contenders until they've negotiated a tricky December. Dan, however, believes the Gunners are the real deal and explains why they can go into next weekend's clash at Manchester United with the realistic target of claiming all three points. AGEING GERRARD! Dan believes the defeat at the Emirates firmly put Liverpool in their place, but believes they can still mount a top-four challenge this season. Marshy, meanwhile, argues that Steven Gerrrad was "made to look his age" and needs to adapt his game if he is to continue playing at the highest level for the Reds. HART WILL BEAT AGAIN! Ben questions whether the decision to axe England goalkeeper Hart will do him some good, while Marshy explains why Costel Pantilimon is more than worthy of replacing him in the Manchester City goal. Dan, meanwhile, piles praise on City's 7-0 drubbing of Norwich, but wants Manuel Pellegrini's men to find more consistency on their travels. BEST OF THE REST! Norwich's struggles this season, praise for Steve Bruce and Hull, "unrealistic" Fulham fans, Celtic's Champions League prospects, and why Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho loves a crisis almost as much as he loves a victory are also debated in an action-packed Pod.
