Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will miss Denmark's June international double-header with a thigh injury.

The Danish Football Association (DBU) confirmed on Friday that Schmeichel had been ruled out of their friendly with Germany on Tuesday and World Cup European Qualifier in Kazakhstan next Saturday.

Tuesday's match in Copenhagen was scheduled to mark the 25th anniversary of Denmark's clash with Germany in the final of Euro 92.

FC Utrecht's David Jensen called up to replace the 30-year-old.
