Kevin De Bruyne was among the scorers as Belgium came from a goal down to beat Italy 3-1 in Friday's international friendly action.

An third-minute Antonio Candreva goal, finished from close range after Simon Mignolet pushed out Graziano Pelle's shot, threatened to upset the side now ranked No 1 in the world.

But Jan Vertonghen (13) headed in De Bruyne's corner to level the scores, and the Manchester City forward's bobbled left-foot finish put Belgium in front before substitute Michy Batshuayi added a late third.

There was a pre-match tribute, and another in the 39th minute, to the 39 supporters who died at the city's Heysel Stadium before the 1985 European Cup final between Juventus and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Europe Robert Lewandowski struck the decisive goals in Poland's entertaining 4-2 win over Iceland.

Poland fell behind to a Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty but recovered to lead 2-1 before Alfred Finnbogason levelled the scores with 20 minutes to play.
