Wales, England and Scotland all move up in latest FIFA rankings

Wales and England have both risen in the latest FIFA rankings after wins in their World Cup qualifiers earlier this month.

Chris Coleman's side have moved up one spot to 10th following their 4-0 win over Moldova, while England are also up one place to 12th after their late 1-0 victory in Slovakia.

Northern Ireland have dropped two places to 30th despite a respectable 0-0 draw with the Czech Republic in Prague.

Scotland, meanwhile, are back in the top 50 and are placed 44th as a result of their 5-1 success against Malta.

Their shift seven places upwards makes them one of the biggest movers at the upper end of the list.

Adam Lallana's late winner for England in Slovakia means they too move up one place to 12th on the list

The Republic of Ireland stay 31st despite a 4-0 win over Oman and a spirited comeback to draw 2-2 in Serbia.

Argentina and Belgium remain first and second but Germany are now third after overtaking Colombia, who sit joint fourth with Brazil.

Chile, European champions Portugal, France and Uruguay make up the rest of the top 10, with Spain placed between Wales and England.

Kosovo are up 22 places to 168th following a 1-1 draw in Finland in their first ever competitive fixture.
