Clark keen to take a look at out-of-favour Watford full-back

Watford full-back Mat Sadler is training with Huddersfield Town with a view to joining the League One club on loan. Sadler has not made a first-team appearance for Watford since December last year and is spending the week on trial at Huddersfield. He is due to play for the reserves against Grimsby Town on Wednesday and Terriers boss Lee Clark is keen to assess the 24-year-old's current condition. "We are looking at Mat with a view to a potential loan move," Clark told the club's official website. "He did very well during his time at Birmingham and was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League. I don't know why things haven't quite worked out for him at Watford to date. "It has been a while since he has played first-team football, so this trial gives us the ideal chance to have a look at him." Joining Sadler in the reserves to face Grimsby will be Northern Ireland centre-half Mark McChrystal, who played for the second string against Bradford City recently.
