Sky Bet League 1 side Fleetwood have signed striker Aaron Holloway on a two-year deal from Wycombe.

The 23-year-old has spent his past two seasons at Wycombe and has featured for the Wales Under-19 side.

Holloway is Steven Pressley's fourth signing of the summer after the Cod Army finished the season just five points above the relegation zone.

Speaking to the official website, Holloway said: "I'm buzzing to have signed for Fleetwood. I'm happy to be staying in League One too having had a little spell in this division with Oldham last season.

"I enjoyed my time there a few months ago and felt I did quite well, so I'm excited by the fact I'll be staying in this league. Fleetwood is the right move for me now.

"I was quite nervous before going to Oldham because I'd never played in League One before. I thought I settled in really quickly and found my feet well.

"The one thing I know about Fleetwood when I've spoken to people I know is that they like to play football the proper way so it's happy days really.

"My agent has a really good relationship with the people here and he told me how good they are. I came over to see the facilities then and they just speak for themselves.

"I'm a big striker who is relatively quick and I put myself about to be fair. I win a fair few flicks on too but my agent won't like me saying that!

"I'm going to work as hard as I can now for the next two years try to score as many goals as I can for Fleetwood. The aim is to get promoted."
