The newly-promoted side faced the prospect of playing catch-up after finding themselves embroiled in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
They have, however, successfully contested the decision to strip them of two points.
The Italian soccer federation have announced that the club will instead be forced to pay a €30,000 (£24,000) fine.
A number of other point penalties in the lower tiers of Italian football have also been reduced on appeal.
Third tier outfit Albinoleffe were the club stung with the biggest penalty but they will start the new season nine points adrift of the rest, rather than 15.
