Dundee have signed French defender Kevin Gomis on a one-year loan from Nice, the Ligue 1 club have confirmed.
The 27-year-old has made 56 appearances for Nice but was edged onto the fringe of the first team last season.
Dundee manager Paul Hartley has been impressed with the Frenchman while he was on a loan period for a week at Dens Park.
Hartley said: "He's got good quality. He has been playing at the highest level in France.
"He can pass the ball, he has good qualities about him. He's strong and quick so hopefully he'll do well for us."
Gomis, who is of Senegalese origin, joined Nice five seasons ago from Naval in Portugal.
