Hibs boss Neil Lennon looks ahead to Sunday's Sky Live clash with Dundee at Dens Park

Neil Lennon says he is looking forward to going head to head with Neil McCann on Sunday, when Hibernian travel to Dens Park to face bottom-of-the-table Dundee.

McCann took over the Dark Blues in April of this year but the team have made a poor start to the Premiership campaign, losing all three of their matches so far.

By contrast, Hibs won their opening two games before suffering a 3-1 home defeat to Hamilton last weekend.

With regards to taking on Dundee and McCann, in Sunday's Sky Live fixture, Lennon said: "I've known Neil for a long time. We've done some shows together for Sky.

"He's very passionate. The job will mean as much to Neil as it does to me.

"Both teams will be set up to attack. They are unfortunate not to have got some points on the board and we can't take this game lightly.

"If we make it nine points from 12 I'll be happy."

Lennon also confirmed that a new contract at Easter Road should be finalised soon.

"I'm very happy here," he said.

"Pleased with the players and support I've had since I walked through the door. Hopefully, I'll get something resolved in the next 24 hours."

And Lennon admits he has targeted a top-half finish this season in the Scottish Premiership table.

The job will mean as much to Neil (McCann) as it does to me.

He added: "Top six but it'll be difficult. Need to find more consistency.

"We started well this season, just had a poor second half against Hamilton, otherwise an unblemished start to the season."
