Bernardo Silva struck a stoppage-time equaliser to clinch Monaco a 1-1 draw against Ligue 1 title rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

The Monaco playmaker fired home a low shot from outside the box in the second minute of time added on to cancel out Edinson Cavani's late penalty for PSG.

Cavani's 82nd-minute spot-kick, his 29th goal in all competitions this season, appeared to have been enough for PSG but Monaco, who have now scored 65 goals in 22 league matches this season, hit back to extend their unbeaten run to seven.

The point for Monaco at the Parc des Princes was enough to lift Leonardo Jardim's side back above Nice to the top of the table and keep them three points clear of PSG, who remain third.

Elsewhere in France on Sunday, second-place Nice beat Guingamp 3-1, thanks to goals from Alassane Plea, Jean Michael Seri and Mario Balotelli.

Saint Etienne moved up to fifth with a 3-0 win at Toulouse, who had Somalia sent off early in the second half.
