Martin's starting stats

On Sunday, Tottenham enjoyed their first Premier League home win over Manchester United since May 2001.

Mauricio Pochettino, meanwhile, recorded his first victory in seven attempts over United and in his three previous games for Spurs against the Red Devils, they had not even scored.

The contest in the capital was also United's 50th match in total of the campaign, having played only 44 games in the whole of last season.

Louis van Gaal's team conceded three times in six second-half minutes, bringing back painful memories of a trip to Arsenal in October, when early in that encounter they let in three goals in a 14-minute spell.

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli, No 20 on the eve of his 20th birthday, scored his eighth Premier League goal, but only his second at the Lane, the previous one coming in November against Aston Villa.

Toby Alderweireld extended his run of playing every minute of Spurs' 33 Premier League matches this season, as well as scoring against United as he also did for Ajax at Old Trafford in the Europa League.

Juan Mata shows his frustration during the Barclays Premier League match between Manchester United and Swansea City

Erik Lamela, who had previously played three times as substitute against United, marked his first start against them with both the free-kick for Alderweireld's goal, before then scoring the home side's third.

And finally, Juan Mata lost for the first time against Tottenham in his 10th appearance for both United and Chelsea.

Leicester have kept five Premier League clean sheets in a row - what is the record for consecutive clean sheets? Paul, Leicestershire

MARTIN SAYS: The Foxes' solidity in defence has put them a few steps closer to an unprecedented Premier League title, and the four straight 1-0 wins in particular had many drawing comparisons with Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United title-winning sides.

And it is United who hold the record for consecutive Premier League clean sheets, with 14 in the 2008/09 season, going from Samir Nasri's second in Arsenal's 2-1 win in November 2008 to Roque Santa Cruz's goal for Blackburn in late February 2009, a 2-1 win for United.

Edwin van der Sar was between the sticks for the 14 games, before Tomasz Kuszczak replaced him for the clash with Blackburn at Old Trafford.

Chelsea are next best with 10 straight clean sheets in the 2004/05 season with Petr Cech in goal, while Arsenal (1997/98), Chelsea (2006/07) and Liverpool (2004/05) all earned eight straight clean sheets.

Newcastle have lost their last nine away league games - what is the longest losing away run in PL history? Adam, Gateshead

MARTIN SAYS: A 3-1 defeat by Southampton means they have not won on their travels since the 2-1 victory at Tottenham on December 13, but they are still some way from breaking an unwanted Premier League record.

Leicester lost 13 consecutive away league games in 2001, coming back to form with a 3-2 win at Derby in September of the 2001/02 season, thanks to Muzzy Izzet's last-minute penalty.

Jamaal Lascelles and Newcastle United players show their frustration

Middlesbrough's 12 straight defeats towards the end of the 2008/09 season resulted in their relegation from the Premier League, while QPR (2014/15) and Sunderland (2004/05) also went on the same wretched run.

It may be a stigma that hangs over Newcastle's head for seasons to come if they are relegated in May. Even if they lost both away games remaining, against Liverpool and Aston Villa, they would still be two away from equalling Leicester's poor run.

Dele Alli has scored eight Premier league goals before the age of 20, but where does that rank for teenagers in the Premier league's history? James, Dulwich

MARTIN SAYS: It has been a season to remember for the young midfielder; an England debut, his first England goal, a goal of the season contender at Crystal Palace in January and a title charge with Spurs.

Dele Alli of Tottenham celebrates

Alli's opener against Manchester United last weekend came just a day before his 20th birthday, and that puts him fifth in the Premier League ranking for midfielders' goal tallies as teenagers.

Chris Bart-Williams scored 14 goals before turning 20 for Sheffield Wednesday in the Premier League between 1992 and 1995, along with Raheem Sterling's 14 goals before his 20th birthday for Liverpool. Ryan Giggs scored 12, while Nick Barmby hit 10 for Tottenham.

However, it could be argued that the last three all played some games as a forward.

Aston Villa have made more errors leading to goals than any other side in the Premier League this season with 14, but who have made the least? Josh via Twitter

Ciaran Clark's mistake in the lead-up to Bournemouth's second goal in the 2-1 win at Villa Park on Saturday was the bottom side's 14th individual error leading to a goal this season as they look set to lose their ever-present Premier League status.

Unsurprisingly, according to Opta, leaders Leicester City have made the least errors leading to goals in the Premier League this season, with just the one.

That came in their 2-2 draw at Stoke City in September when captain Wes Morgan's poorly judged back pass allowed Jonathan Walters to score.

West Ham are second to Villa with 13, Liverpool and Bournemouth have made nine, while Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Everton and Chelsea have made seven.

In good company with Leicester are Manchester United, who have made two individual mistakes leading to goals this season, along with West Brom and Stoke City on three.
