Cambridge have completed the signing of Gibraltar international Jake Gosling on a six-month loan from Bristol Rovers.

The 23-year-old winger, who has scored twice in 11 caps for his national team, is eligible to make his debut in Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash with Carlisle.

U's manager Shaun Derry told the club's official website: "We're very pleased to welcome Jake to our football club, he brings added variety to the options we already have.

"Having had two years of success at his parent club Bristol Rovers, he will also bring a winning mentality with him to the Cambs Glass Stadium."
