Dickson among the players Scott wants to keep

Brentford have started their plans for next season by offering contracts to four players and deciding to release another four. Ryan Dickson is among those to be offered fresh terms and manager Andy Scott is hopeful the highly-rated left-back will put pen to paper, having refused a new deal earlier this season. Fellow defender Karleigh Osborne, striker Cark Cort and goalkeeper Nikki Bull have also been offered new terms, while centre-half Leon Legge has been offered an improved contract. Mark Phillips, Steve Kabba, Lewis Ferrell and Fraser Franks have been released while Cleveland Taylor has been put on the transfer list. Scott said: "I'd like to express my thanks to those who have been released, for their efforts and wish them the best for the future."
