Andrew Hughes is back in contention for Peterborough following his one-match suspension which saw him miss the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United after he was sent off against Port Vale.
The 24-year-old defender, who joined Posh in the summer from Newport, is expected to replace Jerome Binnom-Williams who started the game at Bramhall Lane in Hughes' place.
Ryan Tafazolli could also be part of the squad after impressing in a few under-23 games as he recovered from an injury he picked up on the opening day of the season against Rochdale.
