Hibernian travel to Stairs Park on Wednesday evening to tackle Raith Rovers as they begin their play-off quest for a place in the Scottish Premiership.
The winner of this two-leg tie will face Championship runners-up Falkirk, and the winner of that two-leg affair will in turn play either Kilmarnock or Hamilton for a top-flight berth.
The Scottish Cup finalists Hibs are in the middle of a six-match unbeaten run, having won only two of their previous 10 matches.
Manager Alan Stubbs is confident his side are hitting form at the right time as they look to end their two-year exile in the Championship.
He said: "They have had a lot of games and we are unbeaten now in six. That tells you how they've adjusted and I think they have done really well.
"It's not the end of the world that we have two extra games. We would have liked to have had two less but, in order to achieve what we want to achieve, if it's six, it's six."
Ray McKinnon's Raith side - who finished eight points behind Hibs - will not be short of confidence either as they are unbeaten in their last 11 games, a run which includes a 2-1 win over tonight's opponents.
He said: "Some people can't deal with pressure and some can. There is a lot of pressure on Hibs to go back up, there's no doubt about that.
"There's no expectation for us. We can go out and enjoy it, we really can. It's a big task but I honestly think we can do it."
