Rangers will be hoping to end a turbulent week on a high when Hearts visit Ibrox on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Football.

Under-fire Rangers boss Graeme Murty says he has received plenty of backing since his Old Firm disaster - which resulted in Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace both getting club suspensions - but has heard nothing from chairman Dave King.

The former academy coach's hopes of clinging on to his job beyond the summer appear all but over after last Sunday's 4-0 drubbing by Celtic in the William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final.

Yet he will remain in charge for Gers' final five league games, starting with Sunday's showdown with Hearts at Ibrox.

Murty said: "If I can get through this week, I can get through just about anything.

"I've had lots of support. I've had the director of football, my entire staff and the board of directors making sure I'm OK and ready to go for this weekend.

"They've been fantastic in making sure I get what I need and I'm ready to go for Sunday.

"But no I haven't spoken to the chairman."

Hearts boss Craig Levein was reluctant to discuss his hosts' problems.

"We always intend on starting well in every match and, if what's going on at Ibrox leads to discontent in the stadium, then possibly that can help us," he said. "But I don't have a crystal ball.

"All I know is that for any of these things to make Rangers feel more uncomfortable, we have to play well."
