Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Scunthorpe United and Accrington Stanley at Glanford Park.

Scunthorpe trio Etienne Esajas, Eddie Nolan and Niall Canavan are all hoping to feature in the home game against Accrington. Winger Esajas has shaken off a knock sustained in the FA Cup draw at Grimsby, while defenders Nolan (hamstring) and Canavan (ankle) have been sidelined for seven and two matches respectively. Michael Collins made his first appearance since August last weekend following a long-term knee injury and came through unscathed, so could make his long-awaited league start. But fellow midfielder Matt Sparrow's return to action following a hamstring injury was shortlived at Grimsby when he was withdrawn just five minutes after replacing Esajas and he is not expected to be involved. Accrington have doubts over Danny Webber and Laurence Wilson for the trip to Scunthorpe. The pair missed last weekend's last-gasp FA Cup defeat to Tranmere through injury and face a race against time to be fit for Stanley's return to League Two action. James Beattie will definitely be without James Gray and Shay McCartan, who are away with Northern Ireland Under-21s. Defender Rob Atkinson (hamstring) is set to miss out again as Accrington aim to extend their five-match unbeaten league run.
