Same again for Blades; No fresh worries for Tykes

Sheffield United are set to be unchanged for their Championship clash with Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, who are also at full strength. It is a crucial match for both sides as the Blades look to boost their promotion hopes and Barnsley aim to ease their relegation worries. The Blades are unbeaten in their last eight games and have won their last three, but they will need to continue that form if they are to keep the pressure on top two Wolves and Birmingham. Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole came off the bench against Ipswich following a knee injury, but the on-loan Watford man is set to remain a substitute at Bramall Lane. Championship manager of the month Kevin Blackwell admitted that his side have 'one or two little niggles' but 'hoped to continue to be unchanged'. That means defender Greg Halford, who is on loan from Sunderland, will continue to be employed as a makeshift striker in support of Darius Henderson and Jamie Ward.

Barnsley news

Barnsley boss Simon Davey has a fully-fit squad to select from ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane. On-loan Liverpool midfielder Adam Hammill, who has been struggling with an ankle ligament injury, is back in full training but is unlikely to be risked as the Tykes look to move further clear of the drop zone. Davey's side are three points clear of third-bottom Nottingham Forest going into their last seven games and the manager may opt to recall winger Martin Devaney to his starting line-up as he seeks a pressure-relieving win. The sides last met in November when United edged a fractious affair 2-1 as both sides had a man sent off and Barnsley striker Iain Hume suffered a fractured skull after a collision with Chris Morgan. "There will be a little bit of emotion from the last match but we have to put that to one side," assistant manager Ryan Kidd told his club's official website.
