Shrewsbury v Sheff Utd preview

Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Shrewsbury Town and Sheffield United at the New Meadow.

Luke Summerfield is expected to be fully fit as Shrewsbury entertain fellow strugglers Sheffield United. The midfielder has been hampered by a troublesome groin injury in recent weeks but managed to play the final four minutes of last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Brentford. And having got a full week's worth of training under his belt, Summerfield is expected to be in firm contention against the Blades. Left-back Joe Jacobson overcame a groin problem of his own to start against the Bees last Saturday, meaning boss Graham Turner boasts a full-strength squad as Town aim to record only their third league victory of the season. Sheffield United's new loan signing Aidy White is poised to make his debut for the club at Shrewsbury. The versatile Leeds defender/winger joined on loan until January this week and could start in boss Nigel Clough's second game in charge. Winger Febian Brandy has recovered from the illness that kept him out last week, while strikers Jose Baxter (thigh) and Shaun Miller (knee) are in contention having recently returned to contention following injury. Striker Conor Coady, winger Jamie Murphy and midfielder Florent Cuvelier are among those pushing for recalls as the Blades bid for back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
