Midfielder Lee Cox, who is on loan from Plymouth, will be hoping to start for Stevenage as they face Barnet at home on Saturday.

The 25-year-old re-signed for Boro this week after enjoying a loan spell with the League Two side in November, where he featured in six games.

Jordan Forster is looking to make his debut after signing on loan from Hibernian last week but midfielder Graham Carey (knee) is a doubt after returning to training.

Teddy Sheringham's men have not won since December 12 and will be without Ben Kennedy for the rest of the season after he was ruled out with a knee injury.

Barnet's in-form striker John Akinde will be available as they travel to Broadhall Way this weekend after he extended his contract with the club.

The 26-year-old had been linked with a move to Sky Bet Championship side Wolves but manager Martin Allen confirmed earlier in the week that he would be staying.

Leicester defender Alie Sesay and MK Dons midfielder Mark Randall will be looking for their first starts for the Bees after coming on in the second half of their 0-0 draw with Carlisle last weekend following their loan moves to the club.

Allen will be without experienced centre-back Michael Nelson (shoulder) for three months and has expressed an interest in signing a defender on loan to cover his absence despite his recovery now expected to be quicker than initially suggested.
