Spurs looking to bounce back against Cottagers

Fulham have a tricky trip to White Hart Lane on Boxing Day to face a resurgent Tottenham outfit. While The Cottagers have been slipping down the league, form which culminated in Lawrie Sanchez's axe, Spurs have climbed into 13th after a slow start to the campaign. Fulham enter the contest with little form having been held at home by Wigan at the weekend, while Juande Ramos' side were unlucky to emerge with nothing from their weekend derby at Arsenal. Spurs are unbeaten in four matches in all competitions against Fulham, however, The Cottagers showed great character earlier in the season by claiming a 3-3 draw after trailing 3-1 in the closing stages of the contest.

Suspension

Didier Zokora is seeing out the second game of his three-man ban for the unlucky red card he collected in the side's impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City in the Carling Cup. With Ricardo Rocha and Michael Dawson struggling to be fit against Fulham, Pascal Chimbonda could again partner Younes Kaboul at the heart of Spurs' defence. Jamie O'Hara impressed for Spurs in his Premier League debut at Arsenal and he may retain his place in midfield alongside Kevin-Prince Boateng, although Tom Huddlestone is hoping to start. Jermain Defoe could be drafted in ahead of Robbie Keane after his nightmare outing against Arsenal when he missed from the penalty spot, a chance that could have claimed the points for Ramos' side.
Doubt
Young defender Elliot Omozusi is a doubt for Fulham after being forced out of the 1-1 draw with Wigan with a leg injury. Northern Ireland international Chris Baird is likely to step in should he miss out after replacing him off the bench at the weekend. The Cottagers will again be without long-term injury victims Jimmy Bullard and Brian McBride for the short trip to Spurs. Diomansy Kamara and Clint Dempsey could again lead their attack, although Shefki Kuqi and David Healy are also hoping to start.
