Glovers and Cumbrians face off in League One

Yeovil will be buoyed by the return of four players when they take on Carlisle at Huish Park. On-loan Tottenham pair Ryan Mason and Steven Caulker return from international duty with England Under 19s after missing the Glovers' 2-2 home draw with Brighton last time out. Fellow loanee Shaun MacDonald also returns to the fold following international duty with Wales while Brighton striker Craig Davies is back after being unable to play against his parent club last week. All four come into contention and give Glovers boss Terry Skiverton a rare selection headache, which is made worse by recalled midfielder Scott Murray hitting two goals on his first-team return. Carlisle manager Greg Abbott will hand a debut to new forward Vincent Pericard for the trip to Yeovil as the Cumbrians search for their first win in seven games. The former Juventus, Portsmouth and Stoke striker has signed a short-term deal with United after impressing on trial and goes straight into Abbott's plans. However, captain Paul Thirlwell misses the trip with a long-standing Achilles complaint, with youngster Simon Lakeland (knee) also out. Defender David Raven will not travel with the rest of the squad either after failing to shake off a hip injury, while Gary Madine and Michael Burns also miss out through illness.
