Blackpool will check on striker Kyle Vassell ahead of the rearranged visit of Northampton on Tuesday.
Vassell limped out of Saturday's 5-0 thrashing of Bradford following a clash with Romain Vincelot and may not be risked again so soon.
Manager Gary Bowyer is not short of options up front, with fit-again Mark Cullen eyeing a first start since August following two substitute appearances and Dolly Menga and Daniel Agyei also available. Callum Cooke is standing by if Bowyer opts for fresh legs in midfield.
The Cobblers welcome John-Joe O'Toole back to their squad following suspension. The midfielder has completed a three-game ban and should return to the starting XI.
Ash Taylor drops out, meanwhile, suspended for one match after seeing red on Easter Monday. Hildeberto Pereira, Gboly Ariyibi and Boris Mathis have all left the club after completing loan spells.
The Seasiders have lost just one of their last 11 home meetings with Northampton in the Football League (W9 D1), scoring 22 goals in that time. However, they haven't hosted them since April 2007.
The Cobblers have won back-to-back meetings with Blackpool in all competitions, including a 1-0 triumph in the reverse fixture earlier this season. They have never beaten them in three straight clashes.
Blackpool are looking to secure back-to-back home league wins for the first time since September.
Northampton are winless in nine league games (D4 L5), losing the last three by an aggregate score of 0-8.
