Dons late show rescues point

A late equaliser from on-loan winger Luke Chadwick earned MK Dons a 2-2 draw at Crewe. Steve Holland's relegation-haunted Railwaymen appeared to be on course for their first victory since the middle of September following a gutsy fight-back. However, Chadwick bagged his first goal since joining on loan from Norwich to earn his new team a share of the spoils. Things looked bleak for Crewe when they fell behind to a well-worked goal from promising teenage striker Sam Baldock in the 15th minute. That prompted boos of derision from the home fans but Holland's players refused to let their heads drop and they hit back with an equaliser in the 32nd minute. Mark Carrington dispossessed Spanish defender Miguel Angel Llera before delivering a low cross which was turned into his own net by Sean O'Hanlon. The Railwaymen did strike again three minutes before the interval, Shaun Miller squeezing in a shot at the far post following a right-wing cross from Michael O'Connor before Chadwick's late goal.
