Doncaster defender Joe Wright will be assessed before the home game with high-flying Portsmouth.
Wright came off a few minutes before the end of Tuesday's game against Shrewsbury after taking a bang to the head. On-loan midfielder Herbie Kane will also be checked after suffering a dead leg in the goalless draw. Alex Kiwomya could be available after missing three games with a hamstring problem.
Nathan Thompson will rejoin the Portsmouth squad for the first time since suffering a knee injury on the opening day of the season. The former Swindon defender made the trip to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday but was not in the matchday squad for the 2-1 victory, Portsmouth's fourth straight league win.
Dion Donohue (groin) is Portsmouth's only absentee and is expected to return to full training soon. Victory at Doncaster would see Kenny Jackett's side equal the best-ever start to a league campaign in Pompey's history.
