Ipswich will be without injured defender Dominic Iorfa for their home game against Hull.

Iorfa will have a scan after being withdrawn at half-time during Saturday's goalless home draw against Sheffield United due to a thigh injury. Fellow defender Jonas Knudsen is hoping to return to contention after missing out at the weekend due to a knock sustained in last week's win at Sheffield Wednesday, but winger Mustapha Carayol (groin) is still out.

Tom Adeyemi (hamstring), David McGoldrick (groin), Dean Gerken (hip), Emyr Huws and Andre Dozzell (both knee) all remain sidelined.

Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor is expected to return to contention after missing the weekend win against Norwich due to a minor problem. David Marshall stepped in for McGregor to make just his fourth appearance of the season and it remains to be seen who boss Nigel Adkins will start with.

Striker Abel Hernandez marked his first start in seven months after an Achilles injury by converting two penalties against Norwich, but may not be risked in two games in four days. On-loan Liverpool winger Harry Wilson and central defender Ondrej Mazuch returned to the starting line-up at the weekend and should continue.
