Nancy remain at the foot of the Ligue 1 table after throwing away the lead to draw 1-1 with 10-man Bordeaux. Djamel Bakar fired the home side in front and their position improved further when Andre Biyogo Poko saw red at the end of the first half. But Nancy were unable to capitalise and Henri Saivet secured a fourth successive draw for Les Girondins. Nancy, who slipped to the bottom of the standings after a rare win for Troyes on Saturday, remain seven points from safety. The crowd had to wait 25 minutes for some excitement but it was produced by the home side. Yohan Mollo swung in a corner which was headed goalwards by Sebastian Puygrenier and tipped over the bar by Cedric Carrasso. They were in front seven minutes later, though, with Helder's cross from the right headed home by an unmarked Bakar. Nancy continued to have the better chances and Jordan Loties came close to adding another with his drive, which flashed inches wide. Bordeaux then suffered further misery when Poko was shown a second yellow card for a challenge on Massadio Haidara, but they responded after the interval and Florian Marange fired a warning to Nancy by directing a header just over the crossbar. It was a warning the home side failed to heed and their backline was breached after 75 minutes by Saivet, who ran on to a lovely ball from David Bellini before hitting a powerful shot beyond the reach of goalkeeper Damien Gregorini. A tense finale followed and Nancy came closest to snatching the win in stoppage time with Bakar and Mangani both firing narrowly wide.
